POSITION AVAILABLE: Surgery Assistant Nurse Manager - RN
JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Nurse Manger of surgery assumes the responsibility and assists the OR nurse manager with the daily organization, planning, direction, management, and evaluation of patient care and services for the surgery department, day surgery unit, recovery room, endoscopy, and central sterile receiving. This individual will have the knowledge and ability to fulfill all duties and responsibilities of the surgery registered nurse in the operating room.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently registered in the state of Arkansas. BSN preferred but not required. Membership in professional organization required specific to surgical area. CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification required. At least 3 years’ experience in surgery and 1 year experience in management.
