POSITION AVAILABLE: Infection Control - RN

 

JOB SUMMARY: Infection Control: - Provides surveillance of hospital inpatient population for evidence of infection. Assists nursing personnel in proper care of infected patients, including isolation procedures when indicated. Establishes and maintains a program of infection control training for hospital personnel. Collects and compiles data on numbers and type of infections. Coordinates the infection control portion of the hospital’s survey process to achieve compliance with the standards as set forth by the CDC.

Employee health: provides for service and surveillance of employee health. Maintains documentation on employee illnesses, immunizations and trends.

 

  1. Current Arkansas RN license with BSN preferred. 3 years of clinical RN experience on as acute care unit in a hospital setting. Ability to multi-task and work within a team setting. Proficient with various computer and electronic applications.

BLS for healthcare providers. Certification in area of specialty preferred or obtained within 2 years.

Current licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
