POSITION AVAILABLE: Dietary Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our hospital and as directed by Administration, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Develop department policies and procedures to provide direction of menu formation, food preparation, distribution and service, budgeting, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices, staffing and staff development, and quality assurance programs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field. Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietary Manager or Certified Food Protection professional. 2 years’ management experience and food service experience preferred.
