POSITION AVAILABLE: Coder – Full Time

JOB SUMMARY: Codes each diagnosis and procedure for Outpatient Ancillary Testing and OB and Newborns using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT codes as appropriate for data retrieval, analysis, and claim processing.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year hospital or multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding experience, preferred. CCA, CCS, RHIT, and/or RHIA, preferred, or COC with 2 years’ experience accepted.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, standing, stooping, bending, filing and walking. Ability to lift at least 20 lbs and carry at least 50 ft. Sit or stand for long periods of time. Read small and difficult handwriting, computer screen, and/or print outs for 8 hours daily. Ability to pull at least 5 lbs while lifting, stooping, bending, or reaching for filing.
